PERSONAL DATA

Was born in 1954 in Baki.
Graduated from the secondary school 172 named after S.S.Axundov.
In 1977 graduated from the faculty of Oriental Studies of the Baki State University on Arabic philology.
From 1978 to 1981- worked as an interpreter in Egypt
From 1976 to 1977- in Libya
Since 1981 - works in the Baki State University.
In 1984-1987 - was the internal post-graduate student of the department of World Literature.
In 1996 he maintained the master's thesis on a theme «James Eldritch and the East» on a specialty 10.01.05 (the Literature of the Western Europe, America and Australia).
At present - the senior lecturer of the department of world literature in the Baki State University.

COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Since 1981- works at the department of the World Literature of philological faculty of the Baki State University.
He lectures on the literature of the Ancient East, on the antique literature, on the foreign literature of the middle Ages and Renaissance, the foreign literature of the XVII, XVIII, XIX and the XX-th centuries.
The author of 10 articles and the book «James Aldridge and the East».

PRESENT RESEARCH INTERESTS

The subject of East in literary activity of the English writers-romanticists, the literature of the Ancient East, the Spanish Renaissance Literature, the German literature, the literature of the Middle Ages, lyrics of trouveres, the Ancient Arabic Literature etc.
