Was born on the 26 th March in 1958 in the village Shahsevan of Kurdamir region.
In 1976-1981 he got education at the faculty of Philology of Baku State University.
Married, has 2 children

EDUCATION AND ACADEMIC DEGREES OBTAINED

In 1976-1981 he got education at the faculty of Philology of Baku State University
In 1984 defended thesis of the candidat’s degree on the topic “Charakter problems in Azerbaijan dramaturgy (1970-1980)”.
In 1997 defended thesis for doctor’s degree on the topic “Life and activity of M.A.Rasulzade)”.

COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

In 1981-1984 was a postgraduate student of Baku State University
From 1987 he is senior teacher of Department Modern Azerbaijan Literature
From 1991 he is dossent of Department Modern Azerbaijan Literature
From1999 he is professor of Department Modern Azerbaijan Literature
He is the author 200 scientific works and 13 books
5 dissertate were operating under his leadership.
In 1995 he awarded with the prize named after H.Zardabi of Azerbaijan Union of journalists
