There was held a meeting dealing with the 120^th anniversary of great Azerbaijan poet, enlightener  and public figure A.Javad at the filological faculty.  The dean of the faculty associate prof. M.Valiyev gave information about A. Javad`s life and creation. The head of the Modern Azerbaijan literature chair T. Huseynoglu, the head of the Turkology chair T.Hajiyev, the head of the Trade Unions of BSU F. Shiriyev, prof. Алмаz Mammadоvа spoke about A.Javad.

Students recited poems by A.Javad. And at the end there was shown a film about A. Javad`s life and creation
