There was held a meeting dedicated to the 150 anniversary of great Azerbaijan poet and thinker M.A. Sabir. Conference dealing with M.A. Sabir   lasted two days.The dean of the philological faculty associate prof.M.Valiyev opened the meeting and spoke about his life and creature.Prof of the classic Azerbaijan chair G.Namazov, associate prof.of the Azerbaijan language and literature teaching methodology chair M. Abdullayeva  and other guests spoke about M.A. Sabir
Materials of the conference dedicated to M.A. Sabir`s anniversary  were printed under the headline “ Actual problems of Azerbaijan philology”. 120 speakers  spoke at the conference
